Who is SUMMIT Sport?

SUMMIT is a brand that has been producing sports equipment since 1991. Mostly producing hardgoods sports, we are diverse in the range of equipment that we supply. We design and produce the equipment ourselves. Our business and warehouse offices are in Sydney and Brisbane. We distributor our products through countries around the world – Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, UK, Europe, Asia, USA and Canada. Our sports products are made for all types of users from professional athletes, clubs, schools, fans and people just wanting to have fun. Our goal is to provide sports equipment to all people – this means quality and value. We believe sport is not for the elite only. Most sports stars start from humble beginnings, and SUMMIT believes it is crucial that we have a product that helps everyone raise their game.


What is the history of SUMMIT?

Since 1991, SUMMIT has been part of the sporting landscape. Originally started by Greg McClure and focused on Rugby, SUMMIT was the supplier for national, state and local teams. Used by the QRL, Wallables, QRU, State Of Origin, Cricket Australia, AFL, Miniroos, NSW Country Rugby Union, British Irish Lions, USA Super League Rugby, Commonwealth Games Rugby balls. These are all partners where we were the match ball or producing supporter products to teams. We now produce for many more under license. SUMMIT Sport has since merged with Leisure Link to form SUMMIT Global. Leisure link, a leader in tennis with HEAD, table tennis supplier with Stiga and Cornilleau, OOFOS Footwear acquired SUMMIT in 2014.

Do you deal with Sports Stores in Australia?

Yes. We supply to retailers such as Rebel Sport, Big W, Kmart, Sports Power, Sports First, The Athlete’s Foot, Sportitude, Intersport, Amazon, Catch, Sportsmart and all good retailers.


Is your store in Australia?

Yes. Brisbane and Sydney. We also have people in each state who you can talk to. We can be contacted by phone, email or come into our showrooms.


Are you Australian?

Yes. Owned and operated in Australia. No outsourcing. SUMMIT Products are designed and tested in Australia.


Do prices include GST?

Yes.


I want to see products before purchase. Where can I find your products?

You can come to either of our showrooms in Brisbane or Sydney.

SUMMIT Global is a distributor of major brands, and is a wholesaler to national retailers. Please visit your local sports store where you should be able to see our products. If they are not there, please ask them to have the product listed.


Where are SUMMIT showrooms?

Sydney:

50 Old Wallgrove Road, Eastern Creek
We are part of the ACR warehouse. You will see our office next to the carpark – look for the windows with the sports brands. Sydney office is 500m off the M7 (Wallgrove Ck exit) and 1km from Eastern Creek motorsports park.

ORDERING

What is the status of my order?

Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track the status of your order.

For School Purchasing officers that use an account, the order needs to go through manual processing – week days only, but usually done as a priority. Once processed, you will get an email confirming the order.

Once your order is shipped, we will send you another email to confirm you the expected delivery date as well as the link to track your order (when the delivery method allows it).

Additionally, you can track the status of your order from your "order history" section on your account page on the website.

 

Can I change my order?

We can only change orders that have not been processed for shipping yet. If you need to make a change, please immediately contact our support team. They will be happy to help you with any change or update.

 

I can’t place an order! What should I do?

Sometimes there are issues with online platforms, and as much as we like to think our site is perfect, it is 99.9% online. Outside of these times please reach out to our support team who will be happy to help.

 

Can I do bulk orders and get a discount?

Yes, but only available for Sports Clubs and Schools. Both need to be registered and logged-in to see pricing.

SUMMIT also has pricing for promotional and marketing organisations. Please contact us for further information.



SCHOOLS

I am as school officer/teacher purchasing for a school. Do I get different pricing?

Yes. SUMMIT is an approved School supplier.

You will need to register and login to see updated pricing.


Are we able to get a credit account?

Yes – once approved schools, universities and approved education sectors get a 30 day account.


I have not used SUMMIT, do many schools?

Yes – a lot of schools use SUMMIT. Some may not know they are ask they purchase from other suppliers. We supply many of the largest distributors who then sell to schools. We have been providing sports products since 1991, so have many years and millions of sales to clients.


Why should I trust SUMMIT?

Are there School sports specific products?

Yes. There is a range of School Sports products for Soccer, Netball, Basketball, Rugby, Volleyball, AFL. We also have pre-set packs that come with a range of balls, bags and accessories.

For younger players, have a look at our Kids In Sport range which is soft and safe. Kids In Sport is developed for children under 6 to get started in sports.

Do you deal with all types of Education facilities?

Yes. We deal with public and private schools, speciality schools, universities, TAFE, after school care, private collages and more. If you want to know more, please contact us. SUMMIT Sport can help you save time and money on your sports equipment.



SPORTS CLUBS

I am purchasing for a club, can I get better pricing?

Yes. SUMMIT has a whole range of benefits for all sports clubs and associations. Most importantly, your sports club can get SUMMIT TEAM prices. Usually, the prices are around 50% off (not everything but most items). We try to work with sports clubs to deliver the best products at the best prices!

I have not used SUMMIT. Do sports clubs use SUMMIT products?

Yes – a large number of sports clubs and associations already use SUMMIT. Some may not know they are - as they purchase from other suppliers who purchase from us. We supply many of the largest distributors who then sell to schools. We have been providing sports products since 1991, so have many years and millions of sales to clubs, associations, schools, corporates and more.

Are the products designed for sports clubs?

Yes. Our products have been used by profession teams for decades. We know how to provide the best in the sports gear! We also have a warranty on our products. We back up what we make.


Can we have our logo on the products?

Yes. We can do custom products. Please go to our custom products pages or contact our team who are happy to help. A lot of sporting clubs come to SUMMIT to have customised sport products made. We produce thousands of custom balls, teamwear and hardgoods every year.

PAYMENT

What payment methods do you accept?

You can purchase on our website using a credit card (Visa and Matercard) or Paypal. If approved as a school, you will be issued a 30-day school account. You can choose these payment methods at checkout.

If you want to discuss a different payment method, please contact our support team.


SHIPPING

Where do you ship?

We currently ship to all places in Australia. For shipping outside of Australia, please reach out to our support through our helpdesk.


How long does it take to ship my order?

Once you've placed your order, it usually takes 24 to 48 hours to process it for delivery. Delivery can take 2 to 3 days for metro and 4 to 7 days for regional areas. Orders are only processed during business hours Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays).

How can I track my package?

Once you have placed your order, we will send you a confirmation email to track the status of your order.


Do you ship from Australia?

Yes. We are a national supplier to retailers and have warehouses in Sydney and Brisbane. As suppliers to retailers (Rebel Sport, Big W, Kmart, Sports Power, Sports First, The Athlete’s Foot, Sportitude, Intersport, Amazon, Catch, Sportsmart and many more), we have to have regular stock in Australia available.


What if I'm not home?

SUMMIT will use best efforts to meet the indicated delivery time. The courier may require a signature upon receipt of delivery. If you are not home when the courier delivers your product, your product will be dropped off at the nearest Australia Post for pick up. The courier will leave a note in your post box notifying you. See further details on our shipping policy page.

 

RETURNS & WARRANTY

Is there a warranty?

Yes. All products have a warranty from defects and manufacturing faults. We issue warranties of different lengths depending on the products. Most products have a 12 month warranty. Please see item for details or reach out to our team for specific items.

We guarantee any of our product made by us and sold through our online store to be free of defect. We would gladly accept any return or exchange request resulting from a defective item granted they respect the following conditions:

Do you accept returns?

Yes. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied with the quality of the equipment, or the level of service that you were provided, you should contact us immediately. 

To ask for a return, please contact our support using our helpdesk within 48 hours of receiving the items.

Goods should not be returned unless you have been issued with a Return Authority Number (RAN). We will discuss the most appropriate method of returning the goods.

Please choose items carefully as we cannot refund for “change of mind” situations. Damages caused from misuse, abuse, incorrect assembly and irregular maintenance are also not eligible for a return or refund.

 

Can I exchange an item?

Yes. We do accept exchanges and they follow the same conditions as returns. Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving the products with proof of purchase.

In order to ask for an exchange, please mention that you would like your item to be exchanged with another item when preparing your return with our support.
